Welcome

      Central Virginia Chinese School (CVCS) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit educational organization that aims to promote Chinese language literacy and to encourage cultural exchange/diversity within our community. CVCS is the largest weekend Chinese School in the Great Richmond area.
      CVCS offers two types of Chinese language programs-- The Chinese as a Heritage Language (CHL) program is designed for students who can speak fluent Chinese (Mandarin). The Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) program is specially designed for non-native Chinese speakers (both children and adults).
      In addition to language classes, CVCS also offers a variety of Enrichment classes that include Chinese Painting, Chinese Folk Dancing, Painting for Beginner, Sketching, Chess and Tennis.
